Frank Pace (PACE Eggs)

Frank Pace

PACE Eggs are one of the largest egg farming companies in Australia. Starting in 1978 with just one property managing 22,000 hens, they now confine over 2,000,000 hens at any one time across a number of facilities, including Henholme Battery Hen Farm near Newcastle NSW.

PACE Eggs like to boast that they are an "entirely self-sufficient company, whether rearing day-old chicks, blending our own feed, collecting and grading eggs, processing egg products, or delivering via our own fleet of vehicles".

Pace Farm is a fully integrated egg and egg product producer and marketer. Their operations include:

  • the rearing of pullets
  • the farming of eggs under all three production styles, free-range, barn laid and caged
  • the grading and packing of eggs
  • a breaking plant that produces egg products
  • the sale and marketing of all our products
  • the transport and delivery of our product range through our own private fleet of trucks

Pace Farm also operates its own egg processing plant in Newcastle, north of Sydney, supplying egg products to major food processors, caterers, bakeries and the food service industry in Australia and overseas.
